Full course description
The purpose of this short course is to provide an overview of the physics and modeling associated with liquid fueled rocket propulsion technology including recent advancements and design level modeling. Attendees will be provided with a thorough introduction to the operating principles, design techniques, and performance parameters of liquid propellant systems. Discussions are complemented by examples and interactive problem sessions. While the presentation is intended to provide a practicing engineer who is uninitiated in the field of solid propellant rocket propulsion with a working knowledge of field, the material provided in this course is of sufficient technical depth to provide the foundation for a technical analysis of solid propellant motors.
