Full course description
Welcome to Essential Financial Skills: P1! This course introduces students to basic information required to understand and implement financial tools in business. Upon completion, students will have the ability to successfully utilize financial instruments and read/interpret financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Income/Expense worksheets, Profit/Loss Statement, Statement of Cash Flows). Topics to include: Accounting basics, budgets, depreciation, cash flow analysis, tax implications, financial dashboard and pertinent metrics.
